New Partner & Agency Onboarding Flow

Partners and agencies can now self-register, submit integration requests through a guided flow, and manage their own profiles. Approved attribution requests generate the partner configuration automatically. What's new:

  • Self-serve registration for partners and agencies Partners and agencies can create their own org without manual provisioning. A short wizard helps users identify which account type fits their use case. Accounts that need both partner and agency capabilities are handled as a separate path.
  • Redesigned integration request form The new form replaces the legacy submission flow. Attribution integration requests are routed into a dedicated dashboard for review. settings.
  • Automatic attribution provisioning Once an attribution integration request is approved, the partner configuration is created automatically as a new attribution source. Clean, complete submissions can go live in seconds.
  • Self-managed partner profile Partners can update their own logo, website, and profile details. Profile changes feed directly into the Partner Marketplace.

Apple Ad Attribution Kit (AAK) support

Singular now supports Apple's Ad Attribution Kit (AAK) framework, the successor to SKAdNetwork. AAK introduces several capabilities beyond SKAN:

  • Re-engagement support on iOS 18+. Postbacks include a conversion-type field for download, redownload, or re-engagement.
  • Dedicated country code field in postbacks, derived from App Store storefront settings.
  • Alternative marketplace support (App Store plus EU DMA marketplaces).
  • Core mechanics including the three postback windows, fine and coarse conversion values, source identifier, and crowd anonymity match SKAN. Apple has confirmed AAK is fully interoperable with SKAN.

Singular currently supports App AAK postbacks (postbacks sent to Singular through the advertiser). Data is available through Extract ETL and Export Logs.

Note: data from standard AAK postbacks is not yet available in Singular reporting or Singular postbacks.

Lock parameter overrides on short links

Custom Singular Links can now be locked to prevent click-time parameter overrides. When enabled, parameters already set in the base link cannot be modified or replaced through query string parameters at click time.

  • Per-link control: a toggle on each shortened custom link in Manage Links enables the lock. Default behavior is unchanged.
  • API support: set disable_short_link_parameters_overrides: true when creating or updating a custom link via the Singular Links API.
  • Inheritance: short links created through the Dynamic Short Links API inherit the lock setting from the base link.

Hook tags for Creative IQ

Generate AI tags scoped to the opening seconds of a video creative to analyze hook performance separately from full-video performance. The first few seconds of a video are critical for capturing viewer attention; hook tags isolate that window so marketers can measure what makes an opening effective.

How to configure a hook tag:

  1. Go to Manage AI Dimensions in your Creative IQ dashboard and select Add New.
  2. Enable the "This is a Hook Tag" option. Hook tags apply only to video creatives.
  3. Define the hook length in seconds (for example, 3 seconds). Singular analyzes only that opening window.

Two default hook tags are included for all orgs with Creative IQ enabled:

  • Hook type covers common opening categories.
  • Hook format covers visual treatment (text overlay, cinematic, UGC testimonial, and similar).

Hook tags are applied to creatives from the last 7 days on activation. For historical backfill, open a Support ticket.

CTV to web attribution

Singular now supports view-through attribution from CTV impressions to web conversions, closing the measurement gap between Connected TV exposure and website activity. When a user is exposed to a CTV ad and later visits the advertiser's website, Singular can match the exposure to the conversion using probabilistic signals.

CTV to web attribution requires Cross-Browser Attribution to be enabled and uses Singular's CTV impression links. Setup is configured per CTV partner; contact your Solutions Engineer to enable.

View-through attribution for web

Singular now supports view-through attribution for web conversions using Singular impression links. Users who see an ad and later visit the advertiser's website can be attributed to the impression, providing visibility into top-of-funnel exposure that was previously invisible in web reporting.

Web view-through attribution is currently live for:

  • TikTok
  • Reddit
  • Snapchat
  • Google (via Campaign Manager 360)

Additional partners are in progress. View-through attribution requires Cross-Browser Attribution to be enabled and impression links to be configured for each campaign. Contact your Solutions Engineer to set up.

Cross-browser attribution for web

Singular now supports cross-browser attribution, which links ad clicks that occur inside a social platform's in-app browser to later visits or conversions in the user's native mobile browser (such as Safari or Chrome). Without this capability, users who click an ad in Instagram or TikTok and then reopen the site in their default browser appear as organic, breaking attribution.

The feature uses IP-based probabilistic attribution, scoped specifically to clicks from social in-app browsers. Cross-browser attribution is currently off by default and can be enabled by Support or your Solutions Engineer. Enabling it is also a prerequisite for view-through attribution for web and CTV to web attribution.

Several improvements are live in the Web SDK:

  • Google Tag Manager parity: the GTM implementation now has full feature parity with the native Web SDK, including banners. Clients implementing through GTM no longer need custom workarounds for session context or user properties.
  • Global properties: set shared properties at initialization or runtime to apply across all events. Management APIs are available to set, unset, update, or clear properties on the fly.
  • Event deduplication: an optional setting to identify and reduce duplicate event exports based on parameter matching. Configurable per session. Disabled by default; enable through your SDK initialization config.
  • Automatic context capture: page URL and page referrer are now registered on every event and exposed in user-level data and export logs, providing visibility into user flows and organic referral sources.

Every modification to a partner configuration is now tracked and exposed to customers. A new History icon on each Partner Configuration row downloads a CSV of all changes. A new Changes Log API provides programmatic access for auditing tools, and Slack notifications now display Added/Changed/Removed diffs rather than full configuration snapshots.

  • Overview: breakdown by asset and all relevant metrics.

  • Tag analysis: surface single-value tags that differentiate the creatives.
  • Creative spec analysis: evaluate which video duration or orientation performs best.

Creative Recommendations in Insights have been upgraded to compare top and bottom performers across the full dataset, reference existing creative attributes (duration, elements, keywords), and ground expected outcomes in observed dataset patterns.

  • Postback filters and tracker campaign filters.
  • OAuth partner chosen accounts.

Exports can be generated for all configurations or scoped to a single partner. Partner parameters are now exposed as paired columns (parameter name and parameter value), replacing the previous Event Partner Name field.

No action is required from customers.

Two updates to fraud management:

  • Every global rule can now be customized in the Fraud Custom Rules screen, with in-UI explanations for each parameter.
  • Custom parameters from touchpoints, including values passed through the _p passthrough, can now be used in custom fraud rules.

Important: parameter names must match the touchpoint exactly. Otherwise the rule will fail silently and will not flag, reject, or whitelist events.

  • For orgs with AI Tags and ETL enabled, ETL reflects new tags for the last 7 days, matching the standard daily pull window.

New Dashboard and Widget Enhancements

We have introduced several new features to enhance your dashboard and widget experience:

  • Widget Subtitles: Widgets now display a subtitle showing all applied filters, providing immediate context on the data being viewed.
  • Dashboard Favorites: You can now use a **star icon** to mark your favorite dashboards. These will appear at the top of the dropdown list for easier access. We also added metadata (creator name, private/public status) to saved dashboards.
  • Date Selector Improvements: We updated the default date options to better align with common user needs. These popular default dates are now also visible at the top of the dashboard.
  • Top 25 Dropdown: Pie and Horizontal Bar widgets now feature a **"show top 25" filter** dropdown, making it simpler to analyze data when many values are present. We plan to extend this to other widget types soon.

New Default AI Tag and Delete Functionality for Creative Tags

We have released two key updates for tag management in the gallery:

New Default Tag: "is UGC = true/false"

A new default tag, “is UGC = true/false,” has been added for all organizations with Creative IQ (CIQ) enabled. This tag was *not* added for organizations that already had it enabled as a custom tag.

Delete Creative Tag Functionality

You can now **delete tags** directly from individual creatives in the gallery.

  • Click **“edit”** inside a creative in the gallery to remove tags.
  • A confirmation pop-up ("are you sure") will display before saving the changes.
  • Once deleted, the tag is immediately removed for that specific creative across all time and will no longer appear in reports.
  • *For organizations with an ETL setup:* The deleted tag data for the last 7 days will be gone after the next ETL push (which pulls data 7 days back every day).

Apple Ads Pre-Order Attribution is now available

Apple Ads has released support for pre-order campaigns. Pre-order campaigns promote apps and driving users to "pre-order" and app before launch in the App Store. When the app launches in the App Store, it is automatically downloaded to the device of the user that pre-ordered it.
As long as you have your Apple Ads configuration setup, Singular will automaticall measure pre-order attributions for recently released apps that had a pre-order campaign within the attribution window (90 days for click, 61 days for view).

Meta Relaunched Advanced Mobile Measurement Program

Meta's Advanced Mobile Measurement is back for iOS! Singular now supports Meta’s Advanced Mobile Measurement, offering increased attribution accuracy and speed on Meta properties including Facebook and Instagram.

Any advertisers can accept Meta’s AMM terms, to enable row-level data via an MMP integration. AMM data will include clicks and views, and will be available for both installs and re-engagements. It will also include insights from Advanced AEM, but the datapoints that we have previously reported for Advanced AEM will now be available at a row level.

New Data Connector Self-Serve Configuration

When adding a new data connector, you are now able to decide if you want to enable historical import automatically or not. This you more control over your data and prevents data discrepancies when setting up data connectors using the same accounts.

Data Refresh Update — 30 Days of Data In One Request

From now on you can use the Data Refresh feature to update 30 days of data in one request (vs 14 days as was allowed before). This gives much more flexibility and prevents splitting these requests into 2 different requests.

SDID and Global Properties Now Live in SDK Console

You will now be able to see/test the SDID and the Global Properties passed via SDK events.

New Super Filter in Dashboards For Global Filtering Across Widgets

You can now select app / source/ os / country filters and it will apply to all the widgets in the dashboard. It will override existing filtered in the widget — so for example: you have a widget with a country filter = USA. Using the super filter to filter country = Canada, your widget will now display Canada data in the widget instead of USA.

New Total Widgets

You can now add metric totals in your dashboard. You can select from any metric or event and add a filtered view.

Starting today, you will be able to utilize Singular’s Snapchat Advanced SAN integration for both Android and iOS campaigns.

For iOS

  • If you opt-out: then only deterministic attributions will be used on iOS.
  • If you opt-in: probabilistic attributions will be used on iOS.

Snowflake Data Destination. Snowflake deprecating password authentication

Snowflake has announced the deprecation of password authentication (review the details here here). To ensure uninterrupted data flow, you'll need to switch to private/public key authentication.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Generate Private/Public Keys: We recommend creating an encrypted key with a passphrase. Refer to Snowflake's documentation for detailed instructions: Snowflake Documentation.
  2. Update Credentials: Navigate to your Data Destination settings and update your authentication method.
