Setup Instructions

1. Integrate the Singular SDK (see Getting Started with the Singular SDK/S2S).
2. Obtain your SDK Key from the AppLovin platform.
3. To set up event postbacks, talk with your POC about which event name you should use and map to the SDK event names.
   1. In Singular, go to Attribution > Partner Configuration.
   2. Click Add a Partner. In the search box that appears, type and choose Applovin. See Partner Configuration for general instructions for setting up a partner.
   3. Provide the following particular fields:

      Field	Description
      Applovin SDK Key	SDK Key provided by Applovin for each client
      Event Name	Event names provided by Applovin for each event. App Opens (__SESSION__) → AppLovin Event Name: "landing" Revenue Events → AppLovin Event Name: "checkout" (check the Send revenue box) "checkout" events are used to present in-app purchase. Do not map "__ADMON_USER_LEVEL_REVENUE__" (ad revenue) events to the checkout event. Contact AppLovin directly to run Ad ROAS campaigns. All Other Events → AppLovin Event Name: “postinstall”  See AppLovin's documentation for more event mapping instructions.

       

4. Go to Attribution --> Manage Links to configure a tracking link to share with AppLovin. Our tracking link will already have AppLovin's tracking URL macros mapped to report on the most granular campaign data.

   Important: AppLovin's UI will provide an error and will request that you include &redirect=false to your impression tracking link before placing it into their UI. The click tracking link will cannot have this added to it, and will request that you remove &redirect=false if you append it to the click tracker.
