Setting Up Unity Ads

 

Setup Instructions

  1. Integrate the Singular SDK (see instructions).
  2. Get your Game ID from Unity Ads (see the Unity Ads documentation for Singular).
    • Your Game ID can be retrieved from your Unity Ads User Acquisition account, under Apps > Campaigns. (The Game ID is only available after uploading your game in your Unity account.)
    • Game IDs are unique per app and account in Unity Ads. Agencies will have different Game IDs for the same app.
    • Limitation: multiple accounts on Unity Ads can't run the same app with different Game IDs.
  3. For event postback configurations: coordinate with your POC about which event names you should use and map to the SDK event names.
  4. In Singular, go to Attribution > Partner Configuration.
  5. Click Add a Partner. In the search box that appears, type and choose Unity Ads. See Partner Configuration for general instructions for setting up a partner.
  6. Provide the following particular fields:
    Field Description
    Unity Ads Game ID The Game ID you got from Unity Ads.
    Event Name Choose the event name from the dropdown.
    "Send all" checkbox Choose to "send all" installs and / or events if you want Unity Advertise to enrich its models with additional data that may result in more efficient campaigns.
