Prerequisites

  1. Integrate the Singular SDK (see instructions).
  2. For event postback configurations, coordinate with your Universal POC on which event names you should map to specific SDK event names.

Setup

To set up Universal Ads as a partner:

  1. In your Singular account, go to Attribution > Partner Configuration and click Add a Partner. Then start typing "Universal" and select "Universal Ads" from the dropdown list.
  2. In the configuration window, select the app and app site for which you want to configure Universal Ads. 
  3. Insert your Universal Ads Token, provided by Universal Ads.

  4. Select in-app events to send to the partner.
    • Under Event Postbacks, click "+" to add a new event.
    • Select one of the events reported by the Singular SDK in your app and enter the corresponding Universal Ads standard event name.
    • If the event involves revenue, check the Send Revenue checkbox.
    • Repeat for all of your events.

     

Tracking Link Setup

To generate a tracking link for Universal Ads:

  1. In your Singular account, go to Attribution > Manage Links and click Create Link.
  2. Under Source Name, select "Universal Ads".
  3. Configure the link by selecting the desired app site and redirect options (see the Singular Links FAQ for help).

    If you want to use the link for retargeting campaigns (re-engagement) and/or CTV campaigns (recommended), expand the Attribution Settings section and select Enable re-engagement tracking and Enable connected TV measurement. 

  4. Click Generate.
