More Guides for Integrated Partners • More Guides on Singular Links for Customers
Singular tracking links support a wide variety of parameters. As ad networks serve Singular tracking links, they can populate these parameters to pass on additional information about the click or impression to Singular.
The Singular tracker, which receives the tracking links, reads the parameters and uses them in various ways:
- Improving deterministic or probabilistic attribution
- Providing higher granularity in aggregated reports: Any data about the campaign, sub campaign (ad group/ad set), creative, etc., is saved by the Singular tracker and used to provide additional breakdowns in reports.
- Providing additional data in user-level (event-level) logs: See Export Logs and User-Level Data FAQ.
- Determining Singular Links redirect behavior: Some parameters are used to determine how the tracking link behaves. These special parameters don't need to be populated by the network - they are added to the Singular Link when it is created by the customer in the Singular platform.
