Google Play Games are Android games that can be played on Windows. These games are measured just like a normal Android game, except that they are launched and experienced through a Android emulator that is installed with the “Google Play Games” PC application. The “Google Play Games” PC application itself, needs to be installed before users can download any games.

As of June 2024, Google Play Games is in beta and is only available on the Windows PC platform.

How do I integrate my Google Play Game with Singular?

Integrate Singular's Android SDK.
- If you are integrating a game via Singular's S2S API:
  - Ensure that your Android S2S traffic includes Google Play Games data, which can be identified by a few ways as documented in Google's developer guide
  - Ensure to pass sessions and events as Android events ("p=Android")
  - Ensure to pass make (ma=), model (mo=), and user-agent (ua=) to distinguish normal Android traffic vs Google Play Games' Android emulator traffic

How do I measure user acquisition for my Google Play Games in Singular?

Google Play Games acquisition campaigns are typically web ads seen on a browser, leading users directly to the Google Play Games store, or to a landing page with call to actions to download the game.

For both use cases today, Singular can attribute installs via:

Singular Links: Either a custom source or integrated partner Singular Link created for the Google Play Games app, with the requirement that "p=Android" tracking link parameter is appended to the link.
- For custom sources, you can add this by specifying it as a "Link Parameter" when creating the link
- For partner links, manually append "&p=Android" to the end of the link after it has been generated.
