Roku Ads Attribution Integration

Integration Summary

As a Roku Self-Attributing Network (SAN) Measurement Partner, Singular allows app publishers to track installs and re-engagements driven by Roku Ads campaigns. Once an install has been verified by Singular, you can also track subsequent user engagement of these users in your app.

Setup Instructions

To set up Roku attribution tracking for an application:

Prerequisites

1

Configure Roku as a Partner in Singular

  1. In Singular, go to Attribution > Partner Configuration and search for Roku.
  2. Select your app and enter your Roku Event Group ID. You can locate your Event Group ID in the Roku Ads Event Manager.
2

Specify Attribution Settings

  1. Enable View-Through Attribution if you want to attribute view-through (impression-based) conversions from Roku.
  2. Enable Re-engagement Tracking if you want to attribute re-engagements for existing app users who engage with a Roku ad.
  3. Set your attribution lookback windows for installs and re-engagements.
  4. Save the integration.
Note: By saving the Roku integration, Singular automatically sends install postbacks to Roku (mapped to APP_INSTALL). If re-engagement is enabled, session postbacks are also sent automatically (mapped to SESSION_START). You do not need to configure these separately in Step 3.

3

Send Event Postbacks to Roku

In addition to installs and sessions (which are sent automatically), Singular supports sending additional in-app event notifications to Roku.

  • Select which additional events to send to Roku from the dropdown.
  • Map your in-app events to Roku's predefined conversion event names.
  • Check Include Revenue Value if relevant. If unchecked, only event counts will be sent.
4

Tracking Roku Attributions in Singular

After completing the steps above, you can see the results of your Roku campaigns in Singular Reporting. For important information on how Roku data appears in reporting, see Partner Data Policies below.

Data Access

Roku does not allow access to user-level data. Any fields normally identifying a conversion or event attributed to Roku are marked as "Unattributed".
