Integration Summary

With the Singular and Yahoo (formerly Yahoo Gemini) integration, you can track your Yahoo mobile app install campaigns in your Singular account. The integration is a server-to-server integration commonly referred to as a self-attributing method. This means configuration is simple, easy to set up, and doesn't involve the use of tracking links.

Setting Up Yahoo

Prerequisites

Integrate the Singular SDK (see instructions).

1. Configure Yahoo Gemini as a Partner

Navigate to the Partner Configuration page in your Singular Account.
Search for “Yahoo Gemini, in the partner search box:
Enter in your pixel ID (yp ID) from your Yahoo DSP platform:
1. Under your Advertiser in the DSP, navigate to the Tracking tab.
2. Click Create New and Pixel.
3. This generates the unique Pixel ID (yp ID) to input.
Save the configuration.

2. Send Event Postbacks to Yahoo (Recommended)

Singular supports sending event notifications to Yahoo.

First, select enable sending in-app events to Yahoo by selecting All.
Next, map your In-app events:
- Select the event name on the left field, according to the name used in the Singular SDK, and map the name to one of Yahoo's predefined conversion event names.
- Select the Include Revenue Value checkbox if relevant if you want to pass event attribute data (for example, revenue amount, along with a purchase event). If not checked, only notification that the event occurred will be sent.
